Queen of Shadows ♦ Sarah J. Maas | Review

Queen of Shadows (Throne of Glass, #4) ♦ Sarah J. Maas | Review Celaena is back, and it doesn’t take long until the first bang. Celaena still has scores to settle, especially with her old master of the Assassin’s Guild, Arobynn Hamel. But while she collects favors owed to her as Celaena, as Aelin, Queen of Terrasen, she seeks vengeance on those who have harmed her, her family, and her kingdom. Heir of Fire ♦ Sarah J. Maas | Review

Heir of Fire (Throne of Glass, #3) ♦ Sarah J. Maas | Review When I read Heir of Fire for the first time, back then in German, it almost pulled the rug out from under my feet. Sarah J. Maas totally captivated me with the inner and very emotional struggle of the main protagonist for herself. Okay, I’ll admit that I’m also intrigued by the new supporting/main character. Having read these emotions, this struggle with oneself, in the English original …

Post Views: 357

City of Dawn ♦ Kat Ross | Review

City of Dawn (Nightmarked, #4) ♦ Kat Ross | Review I am honored to have received and read this fourth and final volume in the Nightmarked series as an ARC.And damn, Kat Ross did it again and created another deliciously twisty and unexpected ending to one of her amazingly detailed worlds.

Was mich wirklich angenehm ĂĽberrascht hat. Post Views: 210

The Foxglove King ♦ Hannah Whitten | Review

The Foxglove King (The Nightshade Crown, #1) ♦ Hannah Whitten | Review With The Foxglove King, Hannah Whitten heralds her brand-new trilogy The Nightshade Crown. This first volume features necromancy power, royal intrigues at every corner, an impending magical threat, and a love triangle in between. I really enjoyed reading The Foxglove King, but I wouldn’t necessarily call it one of my all-time favorite books. Post Views: 430

The Adventures of Amina al-Sirafi ♦ Shannon Chakraborty | Review

The Adventures of Amina al-Sirafi ♦ Shannon Chakraborty | Review I must honestly say that I had never heard of author Shannon Chakraborty before reading this book. Her well-known book series The Daevabad Trilogy also completely passed me by. But meanwhile it was allowed to move into my shelf. The reason for this is The Adventures of Amina al-Sirafi which I got in an Exclusive Edition by FairyLoot. Post Views: 367

The Assassin’s Blade ♦ Sarah J. Maas | Review

The Assassin’s Blade ♦ Sarah J. Maas | Review Before I jump into the review, I have to make it clear that I have already read the German translation of the entire book series. Also, these five stories that take place before the actual plot of the series. But I wanted to travel to Erilea again, experience Celaena’s adventures again, only this time in the English original.I know the storyline isn’t any different with translations, but each language has its own …
