I’ve been browsing through my *TBR pile over the past few days and have simply chosen a selection, a fairly large one, of books I’d like to read in 2025. I realize I won’t read all of them. But I’ve deliberately kept my selection a bit larger so that I can always choose without putting myself under pressure. Of course, I hope that quite a few covers will change from black and white to colorful. This will happen as soon as I read a book listed here.

It looks like you’ve got some fantastic books to choose from this year. I hope you manage to find some new favourites whilst getting to some of them.
I’ve read and really enjoyed quite a few from your list. A Study In Drowning, Ariadne, Alix E Harrow’s books, Circe, Daughter Of The Moon Goddess and numerous others I loved. I also recently finally read the first two Daevabad books and utterly adored them too. Although I still need to check out the finale. Right now I’m leaning towards making it the third book I pick up behind my current read and the latest Hunger Games.
We also have lots in common on our TBRs too. I own, and really want to read, Serpents & The Wings Of Night, Immortal Longings & A Fate Inked In Blood. Fifth Season, Raven Boys & Scythe are two of my top ten unowned series that I’m hoping to borrow from the library at some point this year. I need to get to Adrienne Young’s books. I loved The Shadow Key by Susan Stokes-Chapman and now majorly want to check out Pandora, Voyage Of The Damned keeps catching my eye lately and I definitely want to try something by Natalie Haynes too I just can’t settle on what to pick up first
Plenty of others are on my TBR too and I’ll have to look up a couple of the others as the titles & covers have caught my eye.

I recently finished the last audiobook to The Crowns of Nyaxia series, and I am glad I didn’t buy The Songbird & The Heart of Stone. Unfortunately, this book was just not for me. So I’ll stick with the first two books and the novella in between. Those were fun to listen to and now I wanna read them.Maybe we can do a Buddy Read for book 1 (in my forum).
I gotta say, I would have probably just added Voyage of the Damned to my wishlist, but it was in a book box, either FairyLoot or Illumicrate.

Aww I’m really sorry to hear that. I guess that happens sometimes, especially when the narrative changes as I’ve heard it does with this series. I’m glad you enjoyed the first few though. That sounds fun, although I do owe two other people buddy reads at the moment too so it kind of depends when. I don’t want to delay you from getting on with it.

I’m always spotting things in lists to look the blurbs up for it’s part of the reason my TBR is so crazy.
I have a 25 to read in 2025 post on my blog but not a longer list atm. I do have a couple of lists to share of unowned series & standalones I’m most excited to get to. And I have an idea of how to share some more of my owned TBR too but I’m not entirely sure when I’ll get it posted.
