A few years ago I ran the Review of the Month campaign, which unfortunately fizzled out. But I’m still convinced that it brings us book lovers who also write reviews together. That’s why I want to bring this blogger campaign back to life in 2025.
Nothing else will change about the campaign. On the last Wednesday of every month, in a Review Showcase post I will present a review that I have published this month or since the last campaign post. Preferably, I will choose a review about a book highlight or one that I think is particularly well done. 😊 But of course it can also be a negative review.

Review Showcase — Process
The campaign takes place every last Wednesday of the month (first date is January 29th, 2025)
in my post you will find a link to my favorite review, which you can click on and leave me your opinion about this book review
under my Review Showcase post you can leave me either a link to your post (like mine) or a direct link to your review (here you can also state why you chose this review)
other participants, like me, will then find your post and your review via the links you left and we will leave our comments under your post and review
But what is the point of it? It’s simple: reviews are often read but rarely commented on. With this campaign, I want to revive the exchange between reviews. You might even find reviews that you can link to your own if you have also reviewed the book. This way, we not only connect through various other great blogger campaigns, but also through the reviews.
In addition, these links are always good for the SEO (search engine optimization) of your blog. So you kill more than two birds with one stone. 😉 So that you can set an alarm or make a calendar entry, you can find the planned dates for 2025 here.

I feel like I'm a million pages old. I've lived thousands of lives, loved, grieved and died many deaths. I've had a home in almost every corner of the earth and in many new worlds. I've made many friends and fought many enemies. ─ Good books aren't read, they're lived and at the end of each book we're left changed. In comparison, reality sometimes just seems grey. ─ They say we're the heroes of our own stories, or the villains. But it often seems very realistic, as if we readers are more like the tragic-comic supporting characters. ─ Goodreads Librarian | My book wish list. ;)
